1. Data controller

2. Data collected

We may process your name, contact details, request details, the number of participants and any participant data required, preferences, communications, payment and billing data, and technical information necessary for the operation and security of the website.

For corporate requests, we may also process company, role, budget, objectives and organisational requirements. For partner applications, we also collect company name, type of service, website and the information submitted for assessment. Please do not provide unnecessary sensitive information.

3. Partner applications and hotel referrals

Data submitted through the partner form is used to assess the application, carry out checks and contact the representative. Submission does not imply acceptance into the selection.

If a hotel refers an interested guest, we may receive the name, contact details and information strictly necessary to handle and attribute the referral. The hotel must inform the guest before sending their data to Ticino Select.

4. Purposes

• respond to the request and prepare a proposal;
• conclude and perform the contract for the experience or team building;
• coordinate the appointed professionals;
• manage payments, tax documents, support and complaints;
• assess applications from suppliers, hotels, residences, venues and other partners;
• attribute and report a referral from a hotel;
• protect the website and comply with legal obligations.

5. Data disclosure

Strictly necessary data may be shared with professionals delivering the experience, participating properties, payment, email, hosting, security, technical support and advisory providers.

We use the Resend transactional email service and the services connected to info@ticinoselect.ch to transmit requests and confirmations.

6. Payments

When payment is handled by an authorised provider, Ticino Select receives the information needed to confirm the transaction but does not retain full card details. The provider’s identity and specific information are communicated during the payment process.

7. Processing abroad

Some technical providers may process data in the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries. Sapima Sagl applies safeguards required by Swiss law where the level of protection is not recognised as adequate.

8. Retention

Requests that do not result in a contract are retained for as long as necessary and, as a rule, no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Contract, payment and tax data is retained for the periods required by law.

9. Rights

Within the limits of Swiss law, you may request access, correction, deletion, delivery or transfer of data and object to certain processing. Requests can be sent to info@ticinoselect.ch. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

10. Cookies, Google Analytics and security

The website uses Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 to measure page usage in aggregate. Before a choice is made or if consent is declined, analytics cookies remain disabled; the tag may send Google limited, cookieless technical signals to produce aggregate statistics. Analytics cookies are enabled only with consent. Your choice is stored locally in the browser and can be changed through the Cookie preferences control on the website.

Permissions for advertising storage, ad personalisation and the use of advertising data remain denied. Google may process technical device and browsing data under its own terms. Sapima Sagl applies technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk and does not currently use advertising or profiling tools on the website.
