Privacy notice

How we collect and use personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Sapima Sagl, Via Valdani 1, 6830 Chiasso, Switzerland, CHE-411.092.534. For data protection requests, contact info@ticinoselect.ch.

2. Scope and data we collect

This notice applies to site visitors, people submitting a request and operators applying to become partners. Through the form, we may collect your full name, email address, mobile number, desired experience, number of guests and information you freely enter in the message. For company requests, we may also process the company name, role, budget, objectives and organisational requirements you provide.

Technical systems may also record IP address, date and time of the visit, browser, device, security logs and data needed for the site to operate. Please do not include sensitive data or unnecessary information in your message.

3. Purposes of processing

We use data only to:

  • respond to requests and identify a relevant offer;
  • check availability and conditions with the selected operator;
  • forward the request to the operator when necessary;
  • maintain security, prevent abuse and keep the site operational;
  • comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims.

We do not use data for newsletters or advertising without separate consent.

4. Grounds for processing

We process data insofar as necessary to respond to a request, prepare or have a proposal prepared, take pre-contractual steps, comply with legal obligations and pursue the legitimate interest of managing and protecting the service. Where consent is required by law, it is requested separately and may be withdrawn for the future.

5. Disclosure to partners and suppliers

Data may be disclosed to one or more selected operators where necessary to check availability or conditions, or to prepare the requested proposal. We request your permission before any sharing that is not necessary.

Suppliers providing hosting, infrastructure, security, email and technical support may also receive data. We use the Resend transactional email service, configured in the European region, and the email services connected to info@ticinoselect.ch to transmit requests and send confirmations.

6. Processing abroad

Some technical suppliers may process data in the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries where they operate. In these cases, Sapima Sagl verifies that an adequate level of protection exists or applies recognised safeguards, particularly contractual data protection clauses, subject to legal exceptions.

7. Retention

Requests that do not result in a booking are retained for as long as needed to manage them and, as a rule, no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Data relating to bookings, contractual relationships, commissions or invoices may be retained for longer where required by law or necessary to protect rights. Technical logs are retained for the period needed for security and troubleshooting.

8. Your rights

Within the limits provided by law, you may request information about your data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, delivery or transfer of data, restriction of processing or objection to certain processing. Send requests to info@ticinoselect.ch. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The site does not currently use third-party advertising, profiling or behavioural analytics tools. Cookies or technologies strictly necessary for operation and security may be used. Any future non-essential tools will only be activated after this notice has been updated and, where required, users can accept or reject them.

10. Security

Sapima Sagl applies technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. However, no transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

11. Updates

This notice was updated on 4 August 2026 and will be reviewed when services, partners or technical tools change.
